The Fridercianum Museum is located in Kassel’s downtown directly on the Friedrichsplatz.
Directions with public transportation
From the ICE rail station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, you can reach the Fridercianum Museum with lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the direction of the downtown. From the Central Station, you can reach it by foot via the Treppenstraße in about five minutes.
Directions by car
When arriving by car, it is recommended that you approach via the motorway exit Kassel-Auestadion (5) from the A49 and continue on along the B3 (Frankfurter Straße).
We recommend finding a parking garage in the downtown. For example, in the vicinity of the Fridercianum Museum, you will find the underground garage Friedrichsplatz. It is also possible to purchase a temporary parking ticket at parking machines.
Travel buses may use the stopping area below the Staatstheater for unloading and reloading their bus groups. However, prolongued parking is not possible there. A logical step lies in detouring to the large parking area at the Auestadion or bus parking lot in the vicinity of Palace Wilhelmshöhe.
